Description

The HB mechanical shore hardness or durometer is designed to measure the hardness on various products, comes in 3 hardness types Shore A, C and D each unit is supplied in a wooden carrying case for protection of the product whilst not being used.

  1. Shore A is for use on products like rubber, elastomers, neoprene, silicone, vinyl, soft plastics, felt, leather and similar materials.
  2. Shore C is for use on products such as foam, sponge or similar materials
  3. Shore D is for use on products such as plastics, formica, epoxies, plexiglass and similar materials

Particularly recommended for Internal comparison Measurement. Standard Calibrations e.g. to DIN 53505 are often not possible because of very narrow standard tolerances.

No Calibration Certificates are offered for the Gauge, they are only possible on the calibration plates found under accessories.
